Scribu — Privacy Policy
Who we are
Scribu (“the app”) is an educational writing game for children aged 3–7, published by the developer identified below. This policy explains how the app handles information — the short answer is that it doesn’t collect any.
Data we collect
None. Scribu does not request, collect, transmit, or store any personal information. Specifically, the app does not:
- ask for a name, email, phone number, or any account;
- access contacts, photos, location, camera, or microphone;
- contain advertising or third-party advertising SDKs;
- use analytics or tracking of any kind;
- connect to the internet to send or receive personal data.
Data stored on the device
To remember your child’s progress (stars, unlocked levels, chosen mascot, selected language, music on/off), the app saves this information locally on the device only. It is never uploaded anywhere and is removed when you delete the app or reset progress from the Parents’ Corner.
Voice narration
Spoken instructions use the device’s built-in text-to-speech (Apple Speech Synthesis). No audio is recorded and nothing is sent to us or to any server.
Children’s privacy
Scribu is designed for children and complies with the Apple “Made for Kids” requirements, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and the EU GDPR. Because the app collects no personal data, there is nothing to disclose to, or request consent for, from parents beyond this notice. There are no external links or purchases inside the app.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.

Dati che raccogliamo
Nessuno. Scribu non richiede, non raccoglie, non trasmette e non conserva alcun dato personale. In particolare l’app non:
- chiede nome, email, telefono o alcun account;
- accede a contatti, foto, posizione, fotocamera o microfono;
- contiene pubblicità o SDK pubblicitari di terze parti;
- utilizza analytics o tracciamento di alcun tipo;
- si collega a internet per inviare o ricevere dati personali.
Dati salvati sul dispositivo
Per ricordare i progressi del bambino (stelle, livelli sbloccati, mascotte scelta, lingua, musica on/off), l’app salva queste informazioni solo localmente sul dispositivo. Non vengono mai caricate altrove e si cancellano eliminando l’app o azzerando i progressi dall’Angolo Genitori.
Voce narrante
Le istruzioni parlate usano la sintesi vocale integrata nel dispositivo (Apple Speech Synthesis). Nessun audio viene registrato e nulla viene inviato a noi o a server esterni.
Privacy dei bambini
Scribu è pensata per i bambini e rispetta i requisiti Apple “App per bambini”, il COPPA e il GDPR europeo. Poiché l’app non raccoglie dati personali, non c’è nulla da comunicare ai genitori né consenso da richiedere oltre a questa informativa. Non ci sono link esterni né acquisti all’interno dell’app.
